Stephen Carter is a Newcastle NSW based photographer. Born and raised in Bathurst NSW, he has lived and worked in many different parts of Australia.  Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast Hinterland, Lake Macquarie, and now Newcastle.

Stephen started taking photos with a point-and-click 110 film format camera when he was about 8 years old. In his senior high school years he took photography as a subject and learned the methods of film photography and dark room processes.

With hundreds of wedding, portrait, animal, landscape, corporate, fashion, and model portfolio photoshoots under his belt, he also runs a local photography club called Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Photographers, which presently boasts nearly 200 members.

It's safe to say that photography is a passion and a calling Stephen has responded to with enthusiasm!  Now he's keen to share some of his favourite photos as wall art for your enjoyment, too.
